sorry, but this is quite funny.

1) HA is not the 'most elite pvp arena'. if anything is that, its GvG. period.

2) touchies aren't that great. kite kite kite. if one of your teammates is silly enough to stand still, only then do touchers become annoying. So kite, cripple, slow hex, kd, diversion, etc.

3) if you only can heal yourself with Divine Favor against a touchie, take another look at your bar, because you are missing some power-healing. Gift of Health, Zealous Benediction, Blessed Light for example are heals that fit on a prot monk's bar.

4) yes, i think its save to say that most touchers are new players.

To be honest, I was really dissapointed in [card]"Can't Touch This!"[/card]

10e for maybe 4 touch skills, with a 20 sec recharge..

I played RA once this week and won 11 consecutive times. No touchers.
Cripple, Snares, E-Den, Diversion, Maybe even Blackout -> quick spike

some whining, some flaming, some giving counter builds... chec out the ranger forum if its still there

Actually that isnt always the case. the only snare for monks i can think of is return (which in itself is gimped due to its lack of crippeled time), which even then if youre facing a good mesmer on the other team, youre still screwed. and there isnt a hex in the necro line that ive EVER seen run in either TA, RA, GVG, HA...

yes rangers, warriors, dervishes, mesmers, eles all have viable hexes, where as necro, monk, rit get kind of screwed...

I was talking about a teambuild.
if you are talking about RA, the chances of facing 4 touchies are pretty slim. And one toucher can be kited quite well.

As for 'if you are facing a good mesmer', well if the heavens fall on our head, we're all dead.
1) the amount of 'good mesmers' in RA is pretty low
2) without somewhat half-decent teammates, you would lose anyway. toucher or no toucher.

This is clearly a high-quality thread filled with high-quality posts.

This thread is closed for now. If you have a solid, convincing reason for it's reopening, PM one of the mods so it can be cleaned and returned to service. Preferably in the correct (PvP) section.
